Michelle: I didn't make it to Cambodian Living Arts - but I know Arn Chond Pon's work and have been a donor to the organization. They're amazing.

Bruce: We drove past Stueng Meanchey and wanted to see it, but our driver did not know what we were talking about. What was really funny is that our cab driver to the airport helped form the NGO "A Better Day in Cambodia" that also works with kids in Cambodia. He co-founded with the official photographer for the Chicago bulls - and the NGO has been doing work for the past ten years or so.

Hi again Beth. I do't know whether you will have time or are aware of the work of Scott Neeson of the Cambodian Children's Fund, but if you get a chance take a look at what he is doing for the children living on the garbage dump at Steung Meanchey. Fantastic work!

Hello Beth, A co-worker forwarded me this post. Thank you for all the work you are doing for young people in Cambodia! I imagine your trip is already quite full, but in case there is space you might want to visit some of Cambodian Living Arts' music and dance classes in Phnom Pneh or Siem Reap.

I found your blog by searching "effective non-profit blog." I do a little blogging for one of the non-profits we serve as a Marketing agency. I certainly didn't expect to see a blog post about my favorite place on earth: CAMBODIA!! In fact, my own personal blog is titled, "I left my heart in Cambodia." Praying you have a beautiful trip!

I have been following your blog for nearly a year and somehow missed the Cambodia/international adoption connection. Have a great time! It appears Harry and Sara will be old enough for this trip to have an impact and be memorable. How wonderful! Our three year-old was a bit too young to remember much from our trip to China to meet her sister but we are saving our frequent flyer miles for a return to their provinces in the next year or so. (They are now 8 and 10.) Thanks for all you are doing for those in need. Thanks too for what you have given to all fellow "nonprofters".

Great to have persons like you with big heart and sensitive approach. I am from SOS Children's Village International and would like to keep in touch. Lets us build a long defined partnership for the children in need of care and protection.

Enjoy your working vacation trip. Although I knew most of what you said in this post it was so well curated that I enjoyed the chronological summary.

I know you are so proud of your kids and this trip has got to mean so much to your whole family. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Welcome back to Cambodia, Beth!
Sorry for losing blog-contact for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised at how much you have done with your work and your foundation here in Cambodia. Your kids have grown a lot now and I hope you all have a great time here.
