Thank you for making a good point! I might also add that if you hire a web developer to create a site using one of the platforms. Be sure to ask if they can train you on how to use back end and make it easy to use!

Thanks for the insight, Laura. Like you pointed out, choosing a CMS is super important–not just for your online communications but also for your sanity. On that note, the only thing I would add: pick one of the big two, WordPress or Drupal, so there are plenty of available resources when you are, say, struggling with a social plugin at 2am on a Tuesday and need help.
